      Hi, Kenric. Delegation of complete authority would be empowerment. Providing limited or conditional authority would be more of a hybrid.

    There really is a plethora of managers out there who basically 'tick and flick' work off to others. Delegate with consideration. Consider the detrimental affect you will have by handing out work that in reality, you should be doing yourself! It is important to remember, your staff may already be overburdened and burning out, the last thing you want is having your own staff resent you. This is unfortunately a common trap for those who imagine they understand delegation, but in reality don't.

    One of the most fantastic books I've EVER read on this topic. Doesn't surprise me because everything Randy Pennington does is top notch. I loved the entertaining and wisdom-filled way he made the point that we either embrace change or...become "extinct!"

    Great Video, Thanks for sharing I had like 1000 goals and did not achieve anything. Luckily, I caught hold of this “importance” mobile app by hanumappa which helps prioritize my goals into 5 types and now I can easily manage all my things. One of the 5 types is delegating which has alone saved my 70% time and energy!
